Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remarkably shorten a time for heating and melting solid substance, to reduce deterioration of quality of contents and to save steam by constituting a heating and melting device by steam of a hanging roof type water sealing external case, an equipment on which an article is placed or fixed, rocked or vibrated and a discharge port for discharging steam into the case.
CONSTITUTION: Drum cans 5 placed on a pallet 4 are positioned on a seesaw type equipment 2 on which an article is placed and rocked. Water is introduced into a groove 6 for water sealing. Heat insulating material 7 is applied on the external circumference of a hanging roof type closing external case 1. The external case 1 is lowered at a prescribed position by an hanger 8 and closed. Then saturated steam is discharged from discharge ports 3 and also the equipment 2 is rocked by an air cylinder 9. Melting point of solid substance capable of being melted by using the device is ordinarily regulated to the atmospheric temperature or above and to ≤140°C.
