Abstract:
To provide a heating roll capable of reducing the size of a convex crown occurring in the heating roll, and to provide a roll press machine and a roll press method.
Heaters 20 are provided facing end surfaces of heating rolls 1, 2. Preferably, each heater is installed so as to be separated from the roll end surface. Preferably, a heating plate (a temperature equalizing plate) 23 is installed on a heating surface of the heater. Preferably, annular covers 22 are installed so that air does not easily flow into spaces between the rolls and the heaters (the heating plates if the heating plates are provided) and air in the spaces between the rolls and the heaters (the heating plates if the heating plates are provided) remains.
