To provide a heating system and a heating method for a bed room capable of economically heating the room with quick initial rise, and providing comfort.
This heating system comprises a radiation heater having a controller for the radiation heater, and an air conditioner. The controller for the radiation heater is provided with a management portion and an operation control portion. The management portion transmits a radiation heater operation start signal to the operation control portion, and operates the radiation heater until a radiation heater operation stop signal is transmitted. Further the management portion transmits an air conditioner operation start signal and an air conditioner operation stop signal to the air conditioner, further transmits an air conditioner operation start signal to the air conditioner in a case when it is determined that a room temperature of the bed room is lower than a set room temperature, and transmits the air conditioner operation stop signal to the air conditioner when it is determined that the room temperature is higher than the set temperature thereafter.
