Abstract:
The temperature-raising system is installed in a vehicle and comprises: an internal combustion engine having an exhaust valve; an exhaust system for guiding exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine; a post-treatment device disposed in the exhaust system and treating, by using a catalyst, the exhaust gas generated by the internal combustion engine; and a control unit for advancing the opening timing of the exhaust valve when the temperature in the exhaust system has dropped below a predetermined reference temperature while the vehicle is stopped.
