Abstract:
To provide a tire for heavy load that achieves improvement in fuel economy, wet grip performance, wear resistance, and chipping resistance in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: A tire for heavy load has a tread comprising a rubber composition that contains a rubber component containing an isoprene rubber and at least one of a styrene-butadiene rubber and a butadiene rubber and contains, relative to the rubber component of 100 pts.mass, 20 pts.mass or more of silica with a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N2SA) of 175 m2/g or more and 4.0 pts.mass or more of an adhesive resin, wherein the difference between the ratio of a circumferential groove area to a contact area (S1) and the ratio of a lateral groove area to a contact area (S2) is 3.0% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
