To provide a heavy load support stage capable of improving durable performance as the whole device, by always rotating a rotary member by constant rotational driving force, without being influenced by the value of the weight of a heavy load.
This heavy load support stage 1 can avoid acting of an overload on a driving device 14, by idly rotating only a rotary member 11, by generating sliding between a support member 4 and the rotary member 11, when a load of hindering rotation of the support member 4 supporting the heavy load 50 exceeds frictional force generated between the support member 4 and the rotary member 11 by an elastic member 12, for example, when the heavy load 50 strikes on an obstacle in rotation, when manually rotating the heavy load 50 or when a turning angle of the support member 4 reaches a limit area. Since the support member 4 is supported not on the rotary member 11 and on a fixing member 5, a load of the heavy load 50 is not applied to the rotary member 11.
