Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy metal insolubilizing material comprising blast furnace slag fine powder and gypsum, which exhibits an effect of being capable of insolubilizing harmful heavy metals and the like, for example, lead, hexavalent chromium, fluorine, and arsenic in a short time.SOLUTION: Provided is a heavy metal insolubilizing material comprising blast furnace slag fine powder and gypsum. Fineness of the blast furnace slag fine powder is, in terms of the Blaine specific surface area, 8,000 cm/g or more. The insolubilizing material contains the blast furnace slag fine powder and the gypsum in respective amounts of 50 to 95 pts.mass and 5 to 50 pts.mass in terms of anhydride, and in a total amount of 100 pts.mass. The metal insolubilizing material can preferably contain sodium metasilicate and/or sodium sulfite.SELECTED DRAWING: None
