Abstract:
To provide an improved heddle excellent in environmental compatibility and produced at a reduced cost.
The heddle includes a monolithic blank (1) having at least two thickened parts (4a and 4b) and a narrow part (2) located therebetween. The two thickened parts are monolithically connected at the narrow part. The monolithic blank has a triangular contour having rounded or flattened apex angles in the region of the narrow part 2 and has a triangular shape and the blank (1) is separated into two individual strands (5a and 5b) along the narrow part and expanded to form a loop (6).
