To provide a side table, a wagon table and the like whose top can be varied in height using a simple structure through a simple operation.

A top 3 is designed so that its height can be varied relative to a main body 2. Leg supports 4 are therefore mounted longitudinally on both sides of the main body, so that legs can be moved up and own along the leg supports. The top can be supported at a predetermined height simply by holding both sides of the top in both hands and raising it. To lower the top, it is lifted slightly upward and then pressed down, so that it can be supported at its initial lower position. For the leg supports attached to both sides of the main body, one for the center of each side or two arranged at a predetermined interval to each other may be used. The number of the leg supports is determined to allow for the strength to withstand load, controllability, etc.
