Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjusting means for legs of furniture which extends or shrinks the legs without using an adjustment cylinder or an industrial tool and easily improve fixing of the legs.SOLUTION: In a height adjusting means for legs of furniture, an inner cylinder 1 having a through hole is slidably fitted inside an outer cylinder 3 having a through hole, and a male screw 5 having a handle 39 is screwed into a female screw 15 on an inner face of the inner cylinder 1 from outside of the outer cylinder 3. By fastening the handle 39 by hand, an inner cylinder pressing body 17 presses to widen the inner cylinder 1 via a middle pressing body 19 in the inner cylinder 1 to crimp the inner cylinder 1 against the inner face of the outer cylinder 3 to be fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
