To provide a net post for volleyball, where appearance, safety, durability and operability are drastically improved and which is used only for each height, by manufacturing the net post having standard height by using a single pipe made of an aluminum alloy.

A sheave 2 is positioned in the upper part of the single aluminum alloy pipe and a cushioning material is arranged in the lower part. The height from the lower part of the cushioning material to the sheave is set to the length which is obtained by adding an embedding depth d to each standard height for a six-person system and a nine-person system. A hook is arranged in one net post of a pair and a net winder is in the other. In the case of outdoor usage, a flange is arranged as a stopper in place of the cushioning material.
