To provide a helical antenna that can reduce the number of manufacturing steps and has light weight and high rigidity.
Unlike the conventional helical antenna manufacturing method in which a helical antenna is manufactured through two steps of manufacturing a core material which becomes a helical antenna supporting strut and mounting a helical element on the core material, the cylindrical core material of this helical antenna is formed of a triaxial textile, in which a prescribed one axis (Z-axis) is replaced from dielectric fibers with conductive fibers 1 at required intervals, and the helical element of this antenna is formed by using the prescribed one axis (Z-axis) of the textile. Therefore, the helical element can be formed simultaneously at forming the core material.
