Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the smooth operation of a helical gear by preventing resonance.
SOLUTION: A number of teeth 11, 12, 13..., formed on the outer peripheral surface of a helical gear 11 while being inclined by a predetermined angle to its rotation axis, have their respective ends located on the circumference of the same tooth circle, and have their respective bottoms located on the circumferences of respective plural different tooth bottom circles. Therefore, the teeth 11, 12, 13... are made to have random heights in the circumferential direction and hence random rigidities, thus restraining resonance that could be caused by the shift of the period of exciting forces due to rotations and by contact with tooth surfaces.
