Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a helicopter having a torque negating device reducing the power required for a flight, allowing a high-speed flight, and capable of reducing the noises caused by the aerodynamic interference between a main rotor and auxiliary rotors.
CONSTITUTION: A fuselage, a main rotor 2 provided on the fuselage, auxiliary rotor support sections 3, 4 extended to the right and left of the fuselage respectively, a pair of the right and left auxiliary rotors 5, 6 provided at tip sections of the auxiliary rotor support sections 3, 4 and generating the thrust in the airframe axis direction, and a vertical stabilizer 7 are provided.
