Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a functional crosslinked molded polyolefin product wherein the crosslink density differs from portion to portion.
CONSTITUTION: A molded item of a copolymer of an alkenylsilane with an olefin and a compd. having at least 2 unsatd. bonds is brought into contact with a soln. of a catalyst in such a way as not to infiltrate the catalyst into the inner portion of the molded item, then picked up from the soln. of the catalyst, and heat-treated to obtain a crosslinked molded polyolefin product non-uniformly crosslinked.
