Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet effective for preventing the flow-down of rain water along the visor of the helmet and joining together at the front face.
SOLUTION: The helmet is provided with a helmet body 1 and the visor 2 connected to the helmet body 1. The 1st ridge 3 is formed at the boundary of the helmet body 1 and the visor 2 keeping a definite distance from the helmet body 1 to form a water-guiding groove 4 for guiding water droplets backward along the side parts. The edge of the visor 2 is provided with the 2nd ridge 6 to form a water-guiding face to guide the water droplets on the visor face backward along the side parts. As an alternative, a visor fitting having the 1st ridge 3 and the 2nd ridge 6 is attached to the visor connected to the helmet body.
