Abstract:

To provide a method of obtaining human hematopoietic cells from human embryonic stem cells.

There are provided uses of human embryonic stem cells for producing hematopoietic cells, uses of the hematopoietic cells for various uses, methods including a step of obtaining human hematopoietic cells by exposing in vitro culture product of human embryonic stem cells to mammalian hematopoietic stromal cells and using at least a part of the obtained human hematopoietic cell for producing an erythroblast cell forming unit in a methyl cellulose medium. At least a part of the hematopoietic cell of the cultured cell is CD34+.
