Title:
HEMISPHERICAL POWER GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009038881
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that only unidirectional vibration energy can be converted into electrical energy in a hemispherical power generator where a magnetized rotor rotates to generate power when a rack bar with a weight receives force in one direction and power is generated when a permanent magnet passes through a case in which a coil is arranged.

In the hemispherical power generator 1, a support pole 7 bends when external vibration (a) acts on the hemispherical power generator in an x-y plane direction, and the permanent magnet 5 rotates in directions of (q) and (j). Electromotive force occurs in the coil 3 with rotation, and electrical energy is supplied to the outside of the generator. Vibration energy other than the unidirectional energy, which is conventionally wasted, can be generated as electrical energy, and power can be generated with respect to multidirectional vibrations.
