Abstract:
To make a roller quickly and accurately follow a flange in hemming.
A hemming unit 20 comprises a hemming roller 30 for hemming a flange 17 of a vehicle 12, a robot 22 which supports the hemming roller 30 and moves the hemming roller 30 to a required position, a first groove 52 or a second groove 54 which guides the hemming roller 30 along the flange 17 while restricting the displacement of the hemming roller 30 with respect to the flange 17 in the axial direction of the supporting shaft 30a of the hemming roller 30, and a guide roller 32. The hemming roller 30 is provided so as to move in the axial direction of the supporting shaft 30a of the hemming roller 30 with respect to the robot 22.
