Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a part item having a bend clinching part such as a complicated vehicle door with a molding roller and a robot alone without a need for joint usage of a portional die or the like.
SOLUTION: A hemming processing method and a hemming processing device which uses a cam punch 2 having rotatable plural radiuses, wherein the cam punch 2 is rotatable in a peripheral direction against a robot and, is held in a manner to perform an independent hammering action separately from an action of the robot. Under the hemming processing method, the robot is moved or suspended against a work while a cam hammering action is kept on and, either of a pressurization by the robot, when the punch 2 is fastened, or a pressurizing bending by the movement (or suspended condition) of the robot, when the punch 2 is rotating, is optionally performed to a necessary position of the work. The hemming processing device is provided with the cam punch 2, which has plural radiuses against a tool body being attachable to the robot, axially supported in a way forwardable/retreatable and rotatable in a work direction by a forward/retreat means 3.
