The hemming device 1 is equipped with a preparatory bending punch 4 abutting the work W and bending it and a main hemming punch 3 on its one end side. And, it is equipped with a hemming blade mounting main body 2 having a driven cam part 5 on another end side, a guide mechanism 9 supporting this hemming blade mounting main body freely movably from the one side to another side in the horizontal direction, a vertical moving mechanism 10 moving a hemming blade main body and the guide mechanism, and a base body cam part 6 provided on the lower side of the hemming blade mounting main body and provided in a position corresponding to the driven cam part of the hemming blade mounting main body. And, the hemming device consists of a supporting base body 8 having the fixing supporting part 7 of the work, which has been provided in a position corresponding to the preparatory bending punch of the hemming blade mounting main body and the main hemming punch.
