Abstract:
To provide a new method for preventing and/or treating hepatitis C.
The pharmacological action of an extract of mycelium of Cortinellus shiitake is elucidated more in details and whether or not the extract of the mycelium of Cortinellus shiitake can be substantially used so as to prevent and/or treat hepatitis C is examined. The extract of mycelium of Cortinellus shiitake is used as a protective agent for hepatitis C. The protective agent can be used for preventing and/or treating hepatitis C or a hepatitis of concurrent disease type of hepatitis B and hepatitis C.
