To obtain a new herbal medicine composition for treating pseudomyopia, and to provide a method for producing the same.
The method for producing the herbal medicine composition for treating myopia comprises producing the composition from medicinal parts of plants and animals, wherein the method comprises producing an extract powder by subjecting Saussureae radix, Chrysanthemi flos, Ginseng radix, Cistanchis herba, and Astragali radix to extraction with an aqueous ethanol solution, pulverizing Fel ursi pulveratum, Margarita, Saussureae radix, Olibanum, and Myrrha to form an ultrafine powder, uniformly mixing the extract powder with the ultrafine powder to form a mixed powder, adding the mixed powder into a liquid comprising a methyl methacrylate polymer and a triethyl citric acid ester to form a yellow viscous liquid, applying the viscous liquid to a substrate, and drying the substrate having the liquid. The herbal medicine composition is reduced in a cost, by decreasing kinds of the medicinal components to 10 kinds, without being deteriorated in efficacy when compared with conventional medicines. Further, extraction efficiency of active ingredients of the medicinal parts is improved, by using the aqueous ethanol solution as an extraction solvent.
