To provide a herbicidal composition exhibiting high safety to a useful crop, and controlling various kinds of weeds over the wide range from before the germination to the growing period in a paddy field, an upland, a non-crop land or the like.
The herbicidal composition comprises a component (A) of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a cyclic amide compound represented by formula [I] (wherein, -A-B- is a group: -C=C(CH3)- or the like; X is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or the like; m is an integer of 1 or 2; n is an integer of 1-3; R1 is a group: COR3 or the like; R3 is a 1-6C alkyl group, a 3-7C cycloalkyl group or the like) and a salt thereof, and a component (B) such as pyriminobac-methyl, pyriftalid, cyhalofop-butyl, oxaziclomefone, cafenstrole, fentrazamide, indanofan, pretilachlor, pyrimisulfan, pyrazosulfuron-ethyl, bensulfuron-methyl, clomeprop and dymron as active ingredients.
