Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a herbicidal composition effective to broad-leaved weeds and annual galingale weeds as well as true grass weeds, containing a phenoxypentenoic acid derivative and 3-isopropyl-2,1,3-benzothiadiazinone-(4)-2,2-dioxide (Bentazon) as effective components.
CONSTITUTION: A composition containing 1 part by weight of a phenoxypentenoic acid derivative of formula I [R is II or III (X is halogen or CF3; Y is H or Cl); R1 is alkoxy, alkenyloxy, OH, etc.] and 0.1W5 parts by weight of a Bentazon of formula IV (R is H or alkali metal salt) or its salt as effective components. It is preferable to apply to the field of leguminous plants, etc.
