To obtain a herbicide composition effective in weeds including weed which is hard to pest control by combinedly using N-benzyl-2-(4-fluoro-3- trifluoromethylphenoxy)butanoic acid amide with a specific nitrile based herbi cide.
The composition combines N-benzyl-2-(4-fluoro-3- trifluoromethylphenoxy)butanoic acid amide of the formula with the nitrile based compounds having herbicidal activity. The compound selected from ioxynil(4-hydroxy-3,5-diiodinebenzonitrile), bromoxnil(3,5-dibromo-4-hydroxybenzonitrile) and dichlobenil(2,6-dichlorobenzonitrile), is preferable as a nitrile compound. The mixing ration of the composition is 0.5-20 pts.wt. of the nitrile compound for a water dispersible powder and 0.5-10 pts.wt. for an emulsion and 0.5-10 pts.wt. for a flowable to 1 pts.wt. of the compound of the formula. This composition is effective in a low dose and free from drug induced suffering on wheat, etc.
