PURPOSE: To provide a herbicide composition containing a pyridinecarboxamide compound derivative and an oxadiazole derivative as active components.
CONSTITUTION: The objective herbicide composition can be produced by using (A) one or more compound selected from 1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-pyridinecarboxamide compound of formula I [R is H, vinyl, phenyl, -O-R1 (R1 is alkyl or aralkyl), etc.; R3 is H or lower alkyl; R4 and R5 are H, 1W11C alkyl, etc.; R6 is substituent group on benzene ring and is H, halogen, cyano, etc.] and its acid addition salt and (B) 5-tert-butyl-3-(2,4-dichloro-5-isopropoxy-phenyl)-1,3-4-oxa-diazol-2(3H)- one as active components. The compound of formula I which is one of the active components can be produced by reacting the compound of formula III with the compound of formula II in a solvent such as toluene under heating.
