PURPOSE: A herbicide with high biological activity that is a mixture of a specific substituted acetic amide with another compound such as p-nitrophenyl 2,4,6-trichlorphenyl ether, thus developing synergism to increase the herbicidal activity.
CONSTITUTION: The objective herbicide comprises, as active principles, a substituted acetamide of the formula (X is O, S; R1, R2 are 1W6C alkyl, 2W5C alkenyl, alkynyl, phenyl, which may be substituted with 1W4C alkyl, benzyl, where R1 and R2 may include N atoms to form a 4W9C heterocycle) such as benzothiazol- 2-yloxyacetic acid N,N-diarylamide and at least one of herbicides selected from p- nitrophenyl 2,4,6-trichlorophenyl ether, α-(2-naphthoxy)-propionanilide, 4-(2,4- dichlorobenzoyl)-1,3-dimethylpyrazol-5-yl-p-toluenesulfonate.
