Abstract:
To provide a hermetic compressor capable of securing abrasion resistance even in a sliding environment in which a first member and a second member, for example, a blade and a roller, which slide against each other, of a compression mechanism unit are in a partial contact state, and a refrigeration cycle device comprising the compressor.SOLUTION: A hermetic compressor comprises a compression mechanism unit that compresses a refrigerant in a hermetic container, where the compression mechanism unit comprises a first member and a second member that slide against each other, the first member has a diamond-like carbon film on the surface of a base material made of iron-based metal, the second member is formed from magnesium-added cast iron, an amount of precipitated carbide on a sliding surface with the first member is 5% or less in terms of area ratio, and a Rockwell hardness (HRC) is 40 or more and 55 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
