To solve a problem of a conventional rotary type hermetic compressor, in which meshing of foreign matter causes deformation or dropping off of an oil blade to result in insufficient supply of oil and seizing or promotion of wear of a sliding part, in a rotary type hermetic compressor in which a sealed vessel having an oil reservoir at the bottom thereof houses an electric motor and a rotary type compression mechanism part connected with the electric motor, gas compressed by the compression mechanism part is temporarily discharged into the sealed vessel to make pressure in the vessel high, and the oil blade attached to the inside of a rotational shaft connecting the electric motor with the compression mechanism part sucks up the oil to supply the oil to a bearing part from oil filler openings respectively formed in the middle of the rotational shaft.
An oil pick-up is provided by sloping a hole in a shaft, for supplying oil without any additional component such as an oil blade.
