Title:
HERMETIC ELECTRICALLY DRIVEN COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10318141
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve and stabilize refrigerating ability, by forming a chamfer less than the specific amount on the side to which a valve plate of a cylinder bore is attached, and multiplying the clearance between the cylinder bore and a piston by multiplying a specific factor.

A chamfer 7b which is less than C0.5 is formed concentrically with a cylinder bore 7a on its side to which a valve plate 11 is attached. Thus, even when a piston 10 is positioned at an upper dead point, the seal length between the cylinder bore 7a and the piston 10 increases and the amount of a refrigerant gas leaking from a gap is kept little. Because the gap size between the piston and the cylinder bore is set to have 1/2500-1/1500 times, the amount of the piston diameter increasing by thermal expansion of the top of the piston near its upper dead point, which is caused by temperature rising of refrigerant gas during compression, is absorbed, and seizing is not caused on the piston. Therefore, refrigerating ability is improved and stabilized.
