To provide a hermetically closed compressor which reduces the noise or vibration level.
This hermetically closed compressor comprising a compression mechanism unit to compress a refrigerant, a motor to drive the compression mechanism unit, and an enclosed vessel with these units disposed on the inner side thereof, has a member in which a part having a cylindrical shape of the closed vessel forms a plurality of layers closely fitted to each other.
