Abstract:

To provide a hermetically-sealed compressor capable of reducing a loading space in an accumulator mounting direction of the hermetically-sealed compressor and reducing the size and weight of a product loaded thereon.

In the hermetically-sealed compressor, an accumulator is mounted to a sealed container for storing a motor and a compression mechanism, a bottom of the accumulator is connected to the compression mechanism by a suction pipe, and the middle of the suction pipe is formed in a shape away from the sealed container so that a maximum distance L1 between the center c of the sealed container and the outer peripheral face of the accumulator becomes a maximum distance L2 between the center c and the outer peripheral face of the suction pipe or shorter.
