Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance cooling performance remarkably without degrading ventilating performance of a cooling fan, by installing a cooling fan outside a sealed frame and by providing a radiating fin attached to a stationary side rotatably through magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:A cooling fan 7 is mounted to a shaft end 1a projected outside a chamber 6. An end cover 8 is mounted to a frame 4 to surrround the cooling fan 7. A shaft 1 is supported by a bearing 10. A heat pipe 9 is buried inside as a heat transmitting system. A plurality of radiating fins 11 formed radially are furnished between the end surface of the cover 8 and the fan 7. These fins 7 have rings 13a and 13b made of magnetic steel and a magnet 12 held by these rings around the side surface. A magnetic fluid 14 is injected between the rings 13a and 13b, and the shaft end 1a. Thus cooling capability can be improved remarkably.
