Title:
HETEROCHROMATIC SEAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3328974
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a heterochromatic seat having both sharp difference in shades of color and a feeling of a high-grade article by using the pile consisting of a loop pile region and a cut pile region and using a prescribed, percentage crimp together with making the pile contain a specified percentage of titanium oxide.
CONSTITUTION: The pile consists of a loop pile region (region L) and a cut pile region (region C), while the percentage crimp of the pile less than 15%. Moreover, titanium oxide contained by the pile is less than 1.0 in weight %. In other words, A loop pile B and a cut pile C are tufted, putting themselves in order at the surface of a base material seat (base fabrics). As a result, in the region L, it has a light color because the light reflects irregularly from a side surface of the loop, while, in the region C, it has a transparency or the light can easily be absorbed because the quantity of titanium oxide is less than 1.0% of the fiber in weight. In addition, the fiber in this region is not looped but facing upward, while the tip of the fiber is not bent because of a low percentage crimp. As a result, the light is absorbed at the end surface of the fiber, giving a profound, dark color, or giving different color.
