Abstract:

To provide a novel heterocyclic compound which can be used as a host material which disperses light-emitting materials of a light-emitting layer, in a light-emitting element.

A heterocyclic compound is denoted by general formula G1. In general formula G1, one of R¹-R¹⁰ is a general formula G1-1; another among R¹-R¹⁰ is hydrogen, an alkyl group, a phenyl group, a biphenyl group, a general formula G1-2, or the like; others are hydrogen, an alkyl group, a phenyl group, a biphenyl group, or the like; α¹ and α² are a phenylene group, a biphenyldiyl group, or the like; and Ar¹ and Ar² are independently a naphthyl group, a phenanthryl group, or a triphenylenyl group.
