Abstract:
To provide a low-cost heterogeneous anion exchanger and a low-cost heterogeneous anion exchange membrane having both durability and dimensional stability and to provide a new water treating technique utilizing the anion exchange membrane.
The heterogeneous anion exchanger contains 35-85 mass% anion exchange resin and 15-65 mass% binder polymer. The anion exchange resin has repeating units of formula (1) (where R is a 3-8C alkylene or an alkyleneoxyalkyl having 4-9C atoms in total; R1 is an optionally OH substituted 1-4C alkyl; and R2 and R3 are each a 1-4C alkyl).
