Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a current mirror circuit with high output resistance by connecting an additional transistor (TR) in cascode connection to an output TR of a 1st current mirror circuit and providing a 2nd current mirror circuit between the base of the additional TR and the input of the 1st current mirror circuit as a base current compensation circuit.

CONSTITUTION: TRs Q11, Q12 constitute the 1st current mirror circuit, and each emitter is connected to a power line 13 and the collector of the TR Q12 is connected to the emitter of the TR Q13. The TRs Q12, Q13 are in cascade connection and the collector of the TR Q13 is connected to an output section 12 of an output current Iout. Then the base of the TR Q13 is connected to the input 21 of the 2nd current mirror circuit 20. Then the output 22 of the 2nd current mirror circuit 20 is connected to the input section 11. TRs used for the 2nd current mirror circuit 20 are of opposite polarity to the TRs Q12, Q13 of the 1st current mirror circuit.
