Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make charcoal inexpensively in, a large quantity from organic combustible wastes produced in a large quantity.
SOLUTION: There is provided a high-capacity carbonization equipment consisting of a drying/preheating oven 8, a carbonization/dry distillation oven 20, a refinement oven 30, a cooling oven 40, an openable shutter 50 provided at each of the inlet and outlet of the oven 20 and shutting air from the oven, a hot air supply means 13 provided at the oven 20, an ignition means 25 provided in position opposed to the carbonization/dry distillation means, a waste gas discharge means 28, an air supply means 27 communicating with the inside and capable of being controlled in a degree of opening, a basket 3 mounted on a carriage, having a number of through-holes in its side wall and holding organic matter such as combustible waste solid fuel and chicken droppings and a means 2 for moving and driving the cartridge. The above ovens, means, etc., are arranged in order from upstream to downstream on a moving route 8 for the carriage 5.
