Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress the pyrolysis of ozone, to enhance electric power efficiency and to efficiently generate the high-concn. ozone by supplying a cooled gaseous raw material to an ozone generator.
SOLUTION: This high-concn. ozone generator has a cooler 14 for cooling the gaseous raw material 11, the ozone generator 16 for generating the ozone from the cooled gaseous raw material 11, a temp. controller 20 for controlling the gas tap. in the ozone generator 16, an oxygen generator 12 for generating oxygen as the gaseous raw material 11, a temp. detector 17a and concentration detector 17b for detecting the temp. of the ozone-contg. gas emitted from the ozone generator 16 and the ozone concn. thereof and a chiller unit 18 for controlling the temp. of the refrigerant to be supplied to the gas cooler 14 by the command signal from the temp. controller 20. The detection signals from the temp. detector 17a and the concn. detector 17b are inputted to the temp. controller 20. The gaseous raw material is cooled by the gas cooler 4 in such a manner that the threshold ozone concn. generated at the gaseous temp. is made higher than the ozone concn. in the gas generator by the temp. controller 20 from the temp. and concn. described above.
