Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation method for three-dimensional cell aggregate with which optical image analysis having excellent robustness in analysis method may be realized.SOLUTION: There is provided a method in which cell aggregate is generated by culturing cells and the cell aggregate is subjected to image analysis, which method is characterized in that: cells are inoculated on medium present on a substantially flat substrate coated with atelocollagen derived from large mammals which is transparent, and having oxygen gas-permeability and liquid impermeability; by continuously supplying cells with air or oxygen containing gas through the substrate, cells are cultured so as to form three-dimensional shape in which the aggregates are cultured in island shape or mountain shape so as to have unevenness, and the aggregates form three-dimensional structures separated with a gap region where substantially cells are absent and arranged in a manner like as separated islands; and by using light penetrating the substrate, on the substrate, the cell aggregates are subjected to photographing analysis.SELECTED DRAWING: None
