Title:
HIGH DC-VOLTAGE GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0984260
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To simplify a cooling structure and make the entire device compact.

A Cockcroft circuit-method high DC-voltage generator is used for supplying high DC voltage to a device such as an electron beam generator which requires a power supply of high DC voltage. In such a high DC voltage generator, a diode 2, a capacitor 3, and a transformer 4 constitute a high DC voltage generating circuit unit which generates high DC voltage. Each constituent component of the high DC voltage generating circuit unit is insulatedly mounted on a content supporting material 12 which is supported in a tank 10 by a mounting member 11. And, a duct for cooling gas 13 is installed in a space below the content supporting material 12 of the high DC voltage generating circuit unit. Cooling gas is led in into the duct for cooling gas 13 and then is circulated through the constituent components of the high DC voltage generating circuit unit to cool them.
