Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-degree treatment method for sweeping water of a landfilling disposal plant, low in operation cost, excellent in economical efficiency, capable of perfectly decomposing raw water containing a biologically hardly decomposable organic pollutant component such as dioxins, or the like, into harmless carbon dioxide, water and nitrogen and capable of easily obtaining teated water with a COD value of 10 mg/l or less.
SOLUTION: In the high-degree treatment method adapted to sweeping water of the landfilling disposal plant containing the biologically hardly decomposable organic pollutant component after at least biological treatment using activated sludge is applied to sweeping water, hydrogen peroxide and ozone are together used to treat sweeping water and the treated liquid is passed through a filter bed comprising biological activated carbon to be treated and the obtained treated liquid is subjected to activated carbon adsorbing treatment.
