PURPOSE: To reduce the energy cost by a method wherein an underground shallow part wall of a snow and ice feeding pit reaching from a surface ground to an underground extreme deep is made by a thick-walled reinforced concrete wall, an underground deep wall part below the underground shallow wall is made by a thin-walled reinforced concrete wall and further an underground extreme deep wall part is made by a high heat transfer wall, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: A snow and ice feeding pit A is excavated while the inside diameter of an entire pit height such as an underground shallow part A1 near the surface ground, an underground deep part A2 below A1 and an underground extreme deep part A3 below A2 and the like is being unified within a range of about 6 to 10m. A wall at the underground shallow part of the underground shallow part A1 which is easily influenced by the ground structure is constituted by a thick-walled reinforced concrete so as to apply a certain strength. The underground deep part wall of the underground deep part A2 just below the ground structure is constituted by a thin- walled reinforced concrete due to the fact that influence of the ground structure is reduced. Further, it is preferable that the wall of the extreme deep part at the extreme deep part A3 has a certain strength and a steel plate having a high heat transfer rate is used as its material. With such an arrangement as mentioned above, it is possible to smoothly take in the terrestrial heat.
