Title:
HIGH DIELECTRIC CONSTANT SYSTEM CERAMIC COMPOSITE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54134399
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain ceramic dielectrics which can be produced by way of low temperature sintering and which are excellent in dielectric constant, dielectrics loss, and capacity variation by using the solid phase reaction of PbO, Fe2O3, MgO, and Nb2O5 at a specific proportion.

CONSTITUTION: The composition of Pb (Mg1/3.Nb2/3)O3.Pb(Fe1/2.Nb1/2)O3 system high dielectric constant ceramic composite consists of PbO of 67.99 to 68.58 in weight percentage, Fe2O3 of 0.61 to 8.51 in weight percentage, MgO of 1.23 to 3.92 in weight percentage, and Nb2O5 of 22.27 to 26.89 in weight percentage. For example, after PbO, MgO, Fe2O3, and Nb2O5 are weighted for the specified amount and mixed in the dry method, they are calcined for two hours at a temperature of 700 to 850°C and chemically reacted. Then, after this reactive substance is broken to pieces and mixed and after polyvinylic alcohol is added to this mixture as caking agent and molded at a pressure of 3 t/cm2, this molding substance is sealed in magnesia ceramic container and actually calcined for two hours at a temperature of 850 to 950°C. As a result, ceramic dielectrics are obtained.
