Abstract:

To provide a separation method for carbon nanotubes (CNT), which is extremely industrially advantageous, in which a large amount of metal type CNT and semiconductor type CNT are easily and efficiently separated and refined in a short time, from CNT containing both of the metal type CNT and the semiconductor type CNT with inexpensive equipment in a simple process and making the scale-up easy.

The separation method for carbon nanotubes to separate into metal type carbon nanotubes and semiconductor type carbon nanotubes included in the carbon nanotubes by a gel electrophoretic method includes a step of energizing carbon nanotube-sealing gel prepared by dispersing carbon nanotubes in gel.
