Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a composite material having high heat conductivity that can simply and uniformly disperse CNT into a metal matrix and easily control an amount of CNT almost independently of the kind of the metal matrix, in a carbon-dispersed type composite material using CNT.SOLUTION: A polymer having a paste property to metal powder particles for a matrix and dispersibility to CNT is dissolved in a solvent to obtain a polymer solution. The polymer solution is mixed with CNT to obtain a CNT dispersion liquid. The CNT dispersion liquid 1 is mixed with the metal powder particles 2 for a matrix to obtain composite material slurry A. The composite material slurry A is dried to form a polymer film 3 containing the CNT 4 on the surface of the metal powder particles 2. The CNT 4 in the CNT dispersion liquid 1 is thus fixed on the surface of the metal powder particles 2 for a matrix by the polymer as a binder. The dried metal powder particles 2 for a matrix is sintered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
