Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency dryer capable of evenly drying an object to be conveyed, such as a printing medium.SOLUTION: A conveyance unit includes: a plurality of electrode provided along a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of a medium (object to be conveyed), and configured to apply a high frequency electric field; and a plurality of sensor provided at a position corresponding to each of the electrodes, and configured to measure degree of dryness of the medium. When the conveyance unit conveys the medium, a power control unit individually controls high frequency electric fields applied to the plurality of electrodes provided at the position corresponding to each of the sensors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
