Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency induction furnace for melting miscellaneous solid wastes, an induction heating body and the melting method of miscellaneous solid wastes, which are capable of melting miscellaneous solid wastes, rich in nonmetal, employing an inexpensive non-conductive ceramic canister. SOLUTION: The cylindrical induction heating body 6, having a diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the canister, is inserted into the canister 1 to melt unmelted nonmetal 5 by heat generated in the induction heating body 6 due to high frequency heating and heat transferred from a molten metal layer 3.
