Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a high frequency induction heating apparatus to be used for baking a powder paint applied to a steel plate and uniformize the heating temperature in the steel plate in the case of electrostatic painting for steel plates.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic flux absorbing material 20 is set between a high frequency induction heating coil 1 and a steel plate 10 in the way the material can move freely. Though the magnetic flux density near the end parts of a steel plate 10 becomes too high in a conventional process due to an edge effect the excessive magnetic fluxes can be absorbed by the magnetic flux absorbing material, so that the temperature of a steel plate 10 is kept within a proper range necessary for paint baking.
